There are many people doing everything they can in their power to try and help the people of Haiti by sending over food, clothes, and other essentials. A family from North Pocono decided to head to Haiti to do what they can to aid. As art lovers, they headed to meet with artists throughout the country in order to purchase beautiful art pieces, but discovered that they wanted to do much more than help the economy and artists. After finding sponsors they decided that they would purchase as many water filters as they can in order to help families in need. So far they have gathered more than $1,250 in bids, which will help over 35 families with Haitian-produced filters.
